This poem contrasts clinical details of a post mortem examination with the unstated personal realities of the loss.

Bio

Ann Marie Ade, an Embry-Riddle Worldwide faculty member since 1992, teaches and develops composition courses in the College of Arts and Sciences and is very active in the Faculty Senate. She currently serves on the Faculty Senate as Vice-Speaker, as Co-Chair of the COAS Faculty Council, and on several committees including Academic Quality Assurance and Ad Hoc Communication. She is also the Worldwide Champion for the current Quality Enhancement Plan, Writing Matters! In addition to her work experience, Ann Marie participates in various professional organizations, including Academy of American Poets, American Association of University Professors (AAUP), and Women in Aviation, International.
