Abstract
This collection of poems was written as one piece and each individual poem represents a year, in chronological order, of my military career. Each poem outlines one event, situation, or struggle within that given year of service.
Bio
I am a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force and the road I have traveled to reach where I am today was colorful and complicated. Originally from Texas, my military career has taken me to Idaho, South Korea, England, and now South Carolina. My experiences in my time serving have been tough and rewarding.
