Abstract
A group of scientists work to finish the classification of a brand new element but are hampered by apparently erroneous data. An apparent shift in the weight of their sample has left them puzzled over the cause. Is it possible the laws of physics simply don't apply? The truth behind their data problems could have ramifications far beyond their own lab as they race other national efforts.
