Abstract
This is a story about community, love, passion, chasing dreams, guilt and shame. The true story of my experience with a school shooting at my high school.
Bio
Rhys McVay is a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. He is an applied biology major who is also a part of the basketball team. While he was growing up, he would always write short stories, but they were usually fiction. Thanks to his creative writing class, he was pushed to test boundaries and write a nonfiction creative story.
