My name is Ryan Cheek. I am a Sergeant First Class in the Army, serving as a Government Ground Representative (GGR) for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). I have been on Active Duty for the last 16 years. I am stationed in Philadelphia and work directly out of Boeing and Summit Aviation (a small general aviation facility in Middletown, DE). I act as a liaison for all aircraft production for the CH-47, MH-47, V-22, and MH-139 helicopter production lines. I oversee aspects of production for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS). I perform acceptance test flight procedures and safety of flight inspections to ensure the delivery of helicopters as they leave production and help to accept them on behalf of the United States Government. Additionally, under Ground Flight Risk Clause contract stipulations, I perform contractor audits and surveillance toward procedural adherence to protect government assets.
I am working to complete a B.S. in Technical Management with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, estimating completion in 2024.
