Abstract

Leah, a strong and confident woman, finds herself paralyzed with fear in a vivid nightmare where a towering beast attacks her. Awakening safe in her tent at Grinnell Lake, she struggles to shake off the terror of her dream. As dawn breaks, Leah reflects on the beauty of her surroundings and the ten-mile hike that brought her and her friends to this serene location. Despite the lingering unease from her nightmare, she embraces the tranquility of the lake and the promise of a relaxing weekend. However, as she takes a morning walk, Leah’s peace is shattered when she encounters a familiar, menacing figure from her dream, leaving her to question the boundaries between reality and imagination. Leah is faced again with running for her life as her nightmare chases her once again.
