Abstract
In The Blink Wave, Thea and Marcus Blake confront a painful, supernatural past when a mysterious anomaly—known as the Blink Wave—reopens old wounds tied to the disappearance of Thea's brother, Tommy, twenty years ago. After a violent incident in a local diner, Tommy vanishes into a rift in time, leaving behind unanswered questions and a fractured family. Now, two decades later, the Blink Wave returns, bringing Tommy back but not as the boy Thea remembers. Instead, he's changed—trapped in a time prison, filled with anger and resentment towards those he believes betrayed him. As Thea and Tommy revisit the past through shared memories, they must grapple with their unresolved guilt, the weight of their family’s trauma, and their bond as siblings. In the end, they must decide if they can release the pain of their past, confront the destructive force of the Blink Wave, and heal their fractured relationship before it consumes them all. The story explores themes of memory, forgiveness, and the complicated ties that bind us, wrapped in a supernatural mystery that questions the very nature of reality itself.
