Abstract
This personal essay, "From Behind the Door to Behind the Cockpit Window," reflects on a journey of transformation from working as a flight attendant to pursuing the dream of becoming a pilot. Growing up in Singapore, my aspirations of flight seemed unattainable due to academic struggles, but a career in aviation reignited those dreams. Inspired by breathtaking moments, such as viewing Mount Fuji from an airplane window, and a pivotal conversation when i met with a pilot on a 5th freedom flight, I embark on a new path through Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. This story explores resilience, the power of perspective, and the determination to redefine my perceived limits.
