Abstract

Entry #426 is a short science fiction story told through a recovered log from a salvage crew investigating a derelict mining vessel in restricted space. As routine operations give way to unexplained events, the line between report and confession begins to blur. A tense, atmospheric narrative about isolation, perception, and the dangers of the unknown.

Bio

Joshua N. Lee is a U.S. Navy aviation electronics technician with 14 years of experience and a long-standing love for science fiction—especially the kind that creeps under your skin. His stories blend atmosphere, psychological tension, and a touch of dread, aiming to pull readers into the character’s mind—whether they're navigating unease aboard a derelict ship or being hunted by something that shouldn’t exist. When not writing, he enjoys gaming, scary movies, and fixing his car (or breaking it slightly less). This is his first published short story.
