Abstract
"The Synapse Saloon" is a short story that describes the allegorical relationship between the Freudian psychological abstracts of the id and the ego. In this story, the brain is replaced by a saloon detailing an evening between allegorical representations of the human mind, Ed and Vigo. Their evening details the differences between the two characters and how they complement each other, just like our own personality traits.
