Abstract
Sound of Revival is a deeply personal nonfiction narrative that chronicles one woman's journey from the depths of abuse to the light of healing, hope, and rediscovered love. Through vivid, unflinching reflection, the author recounts the trauma she endured, the courage it took to walk away, and the profound impact of generational resilience both as a mother and a survivor. Set against the backdrop of relocation and transformation in Guam, this essay explores themes of recovery, identity, motherhood, and the quiet strength required to start over. It is a testament to survival, the power of chosen family, and the quiet but revolutionary act of choosing oneself.
