Biography
Trevor Goodwin joined the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) College of Aviation Extended Reality (XR) Lab in February of 2019 as the XR Lab Manager and Developer. He manages XR Lab production team, oversees lab operations, and works with faculty members to implement XR in their courses. Trevor’s focus is to enhance student learning by using innovative technologies in classrooms.
Trevor has developed for XR hardware since the consumer headset boom, starting with the early Oculus Rift developer kits and the Google Cardboard. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Digital Media at the University of Central Florida (UCF), Trevor worked as a Research Assistant at the UCF Institute for Simulation and Training, where he designed and developed XR learning and rehabilitation applications.
