2025 Champion: Richardson, Noel

Noel Richardson

Biography

Noel Richardson was born and raised near the shore of Lake Erie in Michigan having a long-standing love of mathematics and physics. He obtained his bachelor's degrees in math and astronomy at The University of Toledo before pursuing a PhD in Astronomy at Georgia State University. He then moved with his family to Montréal, Québec to pursue research about massive stars and binaries at l'Université de Montréal. After a second research position at the University of Toledo, he came to ERAU-Prescott where he continues to have an active research group studying massive binaries and embraces computing and research in the physics and astronomy curriculum.
