What were you doing on 9/11? (Or, What was your interviewee doing on 9/11?)

G.W. is the son of a firefighter who lived in Staten Island. This interview highlights the difficulties G.W.'s father had to make on September 11th as a firefighter in NYC, and how he's changed as a person because of it.

What do you want future generations of professionals, particularly those going into your field, to know about 9/11?

It can be difficult to make split decision calls, especially as a fire chief, on days such as 9/11. Future generations can learn from the hardships of living through a tragedy and how we can become better leaders and role models because of it.
