Bio
Jim Ball is the founder and principal of Spaceport Strategies LLC, a consulting practice dedicated to the development and growth of commercial space transportation. The company provides spaceport planning and development strategies to both public and private organizations.
Mr. Ball has over 38 years of diverse experience in the U.S. space industry, with specialized expertise in requirements for commercial and sustainable operations. Since 2012, he has been engaged in supporting Space Florida’s initiatives to establish commercial space transportation capabilities at the Cape Canaveral Spaceport. He is also a member of the consulting team supporting the Florida Department of Transportation’s Aviation and Spaceports Office.
