Bio
Dr. Matt Hejduk has spent thirty years in the design, development, and assessment of space sensing and command and control systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree fromPrincetonUniversity, masters degrees from Southern Methodist University and theUniversityofDallas, and a Ph.D. from theUniversityofDallas. He presently serves as chief engineer for the Collision Avoidance and Risk Assessment (CARA) project for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. His research interests include the conjunction assessment problem, satellite characterization and modeling from signature data, estimation theory, and sensor and network simulation.
