Bio
Catherine (Katie) Bolczak is a Principal Information Systems Engineer with The MITRE Corporation. Katie has over 25 years of experience in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) research, systems engineering, and acquisition, with projects spanning Traffic Flow Management (TFM), flight services, air traffic security, cybersecurity, and integration of launch and reentry operations into the National Airspace System (NAS). She is currently the Principal Investigator for the Space Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) project within MITRE’s research program, building on prior research into TFM common situation awareness and air traffic management launch and reentry decision-making processes
