Scope and Content
Audio recording of oral history interview with Ruth Ola. Ruth and her husband, Col. George Ola, were an integral part of the establishment of Embry-Riddle military training at Carlstrom during World War II. Col. Ola was the commander of military training at Carlstrom, and Ruth became the official time keeper for the British cadets at Carlstrom. George Ola is heard in the background on this recording. Also interviewed is an unidentified woman who worked along with her husband at Carlstom starting in 1941.
