Scope and Content

A speech given to Congress in 1944 by Congressman John J. Sparkman urging recognition of the civilian flying schools that trained military cadets under the Arnold Plan. He also calls for the continued use of this training infrastructure after the war.

The speech goes into considerable detail of the formation of the Aviation Training School program under General Hab Arnold.
