April 16-17, 2025 at Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, Arizona
This workshop aims to promote knowledge dissemination, collaborative exploration of future avenues, and a dynamic learning experience in aviation and space cybersecurity, especially for NSF CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service (SFS) program scholars and others interested.
Details of last year’s inaugural workshop are at: https://commons.erau.edu/avcysecworkshop/2024/.
The objectives of the workshop encompass several key facets:
- Assemble stakeholders in aerospace to share knowledge and advances in cybersecurity.
- Identify realms of technology, research, and development, along with recognizing education and workforce training requisites.
- Provide an immersive hands-on experience, particularly for SFS scholars and other participants, through a competitive Capture-The-Flag (CTF) in aerospace cyber security.
- Offer stakeholders with an understanding of the feasibility and consequences of emerging cyber and cyber-physical attacks within the aerospace sector. The workshop also aims to equip them with potential threat mitigation strategies.
