AviAsian Conference 2021
The long runway ahead – opportunities, challenges, solutions in Reigniting the Aviation Industry in Asia.

To build on the success of our inaugural AviAsian conference in 2018 which showcased a wealth of cutting-edge and disruptive thinkers in academia, researchers, experts and emerging talents in the regional aviation, aeronautics and aerospace industries, ERAU Asia is proud to announce our second AviAsian conference: 'The long runway ahead – opportunities, challenges, solutions in Reigniting the Aviation Industry in Asia'. This conference encompasses the following themes:

      • Airlines & Airports Emerging from COVID-19
      • 3D Aircraft Parts – How safe is this technology?
      • Aviation Security & Disruptive Passengers
      • Looking Beyond COVID-19
      • Green Aviation
      • Big Data, Innovation & Blockchain Technology

ERAU Asia is calling for paper presentations to be submitted for acceptance, review and subsequent inclusion at the AviAsian Conference 2021. Outstanding papers would also be considered for submission to the IJAAA.

Submissions should be well-researched articles utilizing both sound methodologies and the most current references related to the themes of this year’s conference.

Subject areas appropriate for inclusion are:

Underrepresented groups in aviation/aerospace
Current aviation problems and solutions (e.g. NextGen, airport delays)
Air traffic control
Aeronautical engineering
Unmanned systems (limited to aerial and space)
Government research in aviation/aerospace
Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education
Crew and general resource management
Aviation/aeronautics/aerospace primary, secondary, and higher education
Aviation/aerospace manufacturing
Aviation/aerospace safety
Aviation/aerospace security
Aviation/aerospace training
Aviation/aerospace education
Aviation/aerospace meteorology
Aviation/aerospace navigation and avionics systems
Aviation/aerospace maintenance
Aviation/aerospace finance and management
Aviation/aerospace logistics
Aviation/aerospace legislation and regulation

Submissions should be in MS WORD format and include the following:
— The working title of the proposed presentation
— Your full email and postal address
— Up to a 300 word abstract
— A short biography of the speaker and conference presentation experience

Important dates to note:
— The deadline for paper submission is Friday May 7th, 2021
— Acceptance emails will be sent out to successful candidates by Friday June 4th, 2021
— Presenters will be invited to the Aviasian Conference 2021 to deliver a 15-minute paper presentation in an allocated slot on August 26th – 27th, 2021.
