Transcript of Memorandum for Record originally written by Dennis Luke, 5BFTS Course 5, and related to those who joined the Manchester University Air Squadron (MUAS) on April 15,1941 for a six-month short course for the RAF. The course finished on October 15, 1941. Dennis and 14 other members of this MUAS course then went to 5BFTS joining Course 5 as an RAF cadet for pilot training from December 7, 1941, to June 19, 1942.
