Abstract
This project serves to apply numerical methods to obtain solutions for the wave equation. Parallelization techniques in MPI/OpenMP are implemented to optimize the process for comparative results. High Performance Computing (HPC) is the use of parallelization principles to scale a computing system such that there are enough resources to complete a computationally heavy task in reasonable time.
Did this research project receive funding support from the Office of Undergraduate Research.
