Abstract
This qualitative research investigates the relationship between attachment styles, as measured by the Attachment Style Questionnaire - Short Form, and interview flight training outcomes among aviation students. By using a mixed-method approach, we will conduct surveys to assess attachment styles and interview flight students to explore their feelings and interactions with their instructors. Through in-depth thematic analysis, there are three primary attachment styles: secure, anxious, and avoidant. This research would reveal the impact and influence of each attachment style on their flight training outcome. This research aims to underscore the potential for attachment-informed strategies in future flight training programs to enhance student success and personal development. It aspires to contribute valuable insights to the field of aviation education and will call for further quantative research in this area as it unfolds.
