Distance Library Services Conference

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the 2020 DLS Conference has been postponed until the Fall of 2020.  This site will be updated with more information, a formal statement and planned dates.  Please check back often.

Penn State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University are thrilled to continue offering the Distance Library Services Conference to the distance learning library community. Central Michigan University has hosted this conference since 1982 and created a rich forum to discuss, demonstrate, and champion the techniques, trends, and theories of providing library services at a distance and in the online environment.

The Distance Library Services Conference is international in both scope and participation, attracting academic, corporate, medical, and military librarians from the United States, Australia, Canada, England, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, Japan, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, and the West Indies.

Update: COVID-19 Travel Concerns

At this time, the 2020 Distance Library Services Conference set for Fall of 2020 on the Penn State University Park Campus will still be held as scheduled. We are closely monitoring the situation with the community’s best interest in mind, as part of Penn State’s efforts to maintain public health and safety in the face of the coronavirus outbreak.

If the conference is canceled, we will notify you as soon as possible. For the latest Penn State updates and information, visit www.sites.psu.edu/virusinfo
