Day 2 - A1: Security and Automation: Lindsey McFarren
Lindsey McFarren is an industry-recognized expert in general aviation regulations, safety and security. She founded McFarren Aviation Consulting (MAC), which specializes in safety, security, and regulatory compliance consulting, in 2009, and is a leading voice in the Advanced Air Mobility segment.
Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Mount Union University and a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). She then joined a national aviation trade association as Manager of Regulatory Affairs where she became an industry expert on Part 135 charter regulations and specialized in a broad range of general aviation and charter regulations and issues, including TSA security programs; safety management and assessments; fuel fraud and tax matters; air ambulance/emergency medical services regulations; and Part 135 and Part 142 training programs.
Lindsey also served at the Transportation Security Administration as the Assistant General Manager of General Aviation Programs before starting MAC 17 years ago.
Lindsey is an accredited Air Charter Safety Foundation Industry Audit Standard auditor and former International Standards for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) auditor.
Lindsey also mentors new aviation entrepreneurs as they begin their own adventures in serving the industry.
