Day 2 - A2: Infrastructure: Melissa McCaffrey
Melissa McCaffrey currently heads Archer Aviation’s government relations and policy initiatives, collaborating across all levels of government to foster innovation and shape the future of flight. With over 15 years of expertise in aviation policy and strategy, she brings a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and experience aligning government policies with business objectives.
Before joining Archer, Melissa led government affairs at Overair, where she developed and executed key strategic initiatives globally. Prior to Overair, Melissa spent more than 10 years advocating for the aviation community as part of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the world's largest aviation organization, where she influenced policy within its government affairs division.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Air Traffic Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has been a licensed pilot since age 17.
