Description

The Space Riddle student team is competing in the MTT-Sat Challenge to design and build radio frequency and microwave hardware for small satellites. Their entry features a project focusing on additive manufacturing of small satellite deployable antennas. The concept is an expandable deployable origami-like reflectarray for small satellites. The design is significant because it exhibits a deployed area of nearly half a square meter while it only takes up 0.0008 square meters when stowed.
