Biography
Mark Marchese is the Director of Operations at Marchese & Associates, LLC, a woman-owned small business with offices in Ft Myers, Florida and the District of Columbia. Marchese & Associates, LLC specializes in Aviation Consulting, Leadership Training Development and Delivery, and Teambuilding. Mark joined the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Air Traffic controller in 1982 and held many Controller, Supervisor and Manager positions at several FAA field facilities. He was instrumental in the development and implementation of FAA automation advances such as STARS, ETMS, TFDM and other NexGen initiatives. Mark performed 5 years as National Traffic Management Officer at the FAA’s Air Traffic Control System Command Center and finished his FAA career as the National Manager of Air Traffic Control Technical Training. Since forming Marchese & Associates LLC in 2012, Mr. Marchese has had the opportunity to work with the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) assisting with Aviation Navigation improvements at Congonhas Airport in San Paulo, and Air Traffic Management strategies in the Brazilian Airspace. Mark is a member of the Air Traffic Controller Association (ATCA) and the Federal Aviation Administration Managers Association (FAAMA).
