Abstract/Description

Hi, I’m Dr. Curtis Peacock and I am the author of Peacock’s Perfectly Complete Collection of All Possible Musical Scales which is the first, and currently the only book to compile and produce every possible musical scale, including some that have never been discovered before. The book includes every five, seven and eight-note scale based on our modern twelve-note system that can be played on any typical modern instrument of an orchestra, concert band, jazz band or rock band. Some might think that this means there are only Western scales included, but you’ll fi nd scales included from non-Western sources as well. The only scales not included are microtonal because those scales utilize notes not commonly found on modern instruments.
