Abstract/Description
This session is ideal for students who need to write a research proposal, whether it is for an application seeking internal or external support for their research, securing a faculty supervisor, or for a course-based research experience like a research-based independent study or a capstone course. In the first half of the session, best practices will be presented along with a template to follow. In the second half of the session, we will allow time to address more specific questions and to put some of the best practices into action, with the help and support of experts in research and communication.
