Embry-Riddle Primary Flight School - Union City, Tennessee, September 1943. "This is me on my first solo flight, preparing to taxi out for takeoff. My instructor, Al Perrault is standing by my wing, sending me out. It was an exciting day for a twenty year old getting dry behind his ears."
