Concurrent 3 Lightning Talk: Creating a Cohesive Offering of Online Learning Resources
Session Format
In-person Lightning Talk
Proposal Synopsis
I am a new library professional and began a faculty role in August 2021. I was the first Online Learning Librarian hired by my institution, which meant that I inherited a large, disparate set of digital instructional content, including research guides and videos. This lightning talk will touch briefly on my experience in creating a cohesive offering of online learning resources, including implementing LibWizard for multimedia tutorials, creating a centralized pathway to instructional resources, collaboration with colleagues for content ideas, and strategies for auditing a broad collection of content. I will also discuss the effectiveness of these strategies, including faculty and student feedback and page views.
