Proposal Synopsis
Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) provides a mechanism to further integrate within the Learning Management System (LMS). They are becoming broadly available within library tools and other disciplines to enhance student learning experiences. For this lightning talk, we will look at LTIs as a learning tool and an outreach tool. As a case study, we will look at one institution that used the LibGuides LTI to have greater control over its LMS content for students and faculty for new student orientation, new faculty orientation, syllabus integration, and instructional outreach. We will further explore this decision's rationale, journey, and outcomes.
