The General Aviation Weather Display Interpretation section of the General Aviation Weather project includes the development and validation of a large set of general aviation weather test questions for pilots. These questions were later used to collect additional data on pilots’ ability to interpret General Aviation Weather Displays. Data was collected at various locations including EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and via the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). Follow-up research on pilots’ understanding of weather displays is also included.
