Abstract/Description
The goal was to make me realize that I had more potential and could have a bright future if I could just change my ways. Both Mr. Brown and Mr. Repetto are educators and Mr. Brown was a former mentor for Grizzly Youth Challenge Academy. My sister, a reservist in the Army, had heard of GYA through her contacts in the military. I was doing nothing but partying and not thinking of my future. That all changed when I agreed to go to GYA. There, I learned to respect myself, how to properly do school work and how to work towards a goal. Had I not attended, it is my sincere belief I would be either dead, in jail or in a rehab facility.
